The Pump track was officially opened on October 4th, 2017 and is another key feature of the “gateway” to the Three Blind Mice and a wonderful starting location for rides along the KVR or road rides along Naramata rd.
The Enns Family were a contributor to the donation amount raised. “We wanted to make the donation as we raised our family riding bikes on the KVR and in The Mice and our son would have LOVED to have a pump track to ride in the community.”
“Our city has a new and exciting recreational amenity that residents and visitors can enjoy free of charge thanks to the dedication of the Penticton and Area Cycling Association,” says Mayor Andrew Jakubeit. “This project is a real testament to what can be achieved when residents come together with a common vision and goal.”
