Meet our Instructors
PACA’s instructors are the cream of the crop. Whether you’re 6 years old and fresh off a run bike, or an experienced shedder just back from Redbull Rampage (okay, that’s an exaggeration, but we’ve got instructors for advanced riders too) we have you covered.


Jason Town
Roles: Summer Camps, Adult clinics, Privates
Certified Level 1 PMBIA
With over 25 years of mountain biking experience, Jason is a passionate coach and educator. From 2013 to 2016, he coached at Whistler Blackcomb Bike Park, and in 2019 he coached with SD43 in Coquitlam. Since 2022 he has been the Head Coach of the SD67 Mountain Bike Team, guiding young athletes.
Beyond coaching, Jason teaches English and Social Studies at Penticton Secondary School. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding and spending time with his wife and young son.

Amanda Nadeau
Roles: Summer Camps, Adult Clinics, Privates
Certified Level 1 GSMBC
A rider of 25 years, Amanda spent two years with Pedalheads helping young riders become confident on trails, and also with Shred Sisters, empowering female riders through skill-building clinics.
Amanda’s personal riding includes casual mountain bike races and Xterra Triathlons, notably clinching the world title in 2017.
Her most rewarding role is as a mother to a vibrant 20-month-old daughter who inspires her daily.

Peter Hoyle
Roles: Intermediate/Advanced Clinics & Camps, Privates
Certified Level 2 PMBIA
Peter is another industry veteran with over 25 years of mountain biking experience and 4 years of coaching. He’s also an ACMG Ski Guide with 13 seasons of backcountry skiing experience including touring, Cat and Heli, and Ski Mountaineering. If thats not enough, he also holds an 80-hour Wilderness First Aid certification and OFA Level 3 First Aid.
He’s obviously passionate about the outdoors and sport, and cherishing sharing that passion and nature’s wonders with his 2½-year-old son, Jordan.

Josh Schulman

Emily Tremblay
Roles: Youth Clinics & Camps
Certified Level 1 PMBIA
Emily brings a wealth of experience to her role as a mountain bike instructor for PACA this season. With approximately 20 years of mountain biking experience, she has coached youth mountain bike camps, provided private lessons for youth, and facilitated after-school rides for middle school students.
Additionally, Emily has led women’s clinics and coached U12 and U14 alpine ski racing during her university years.
Outside of coaching, she is a nature enthusiast and a devoted dog mom to Luna.
